She received her bachelor degree in architecture from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture in 1999 and her graduate degree in architecture from the same department in 2002. She worked as an architect in an architectural office in Ankara between 2000-2003, and in Izmir in 2004. She was in charge as a part-time instructor at Gazi University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture between 2003-2004.
She is currently carrying on her PhD. thesis in the Department of Architecture at Gazi University and teaching Drawing and Representation, Computer Aided Technical Drawing, Computer Aided Architectural Graphics and History and Theory of Interior Architecture in The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, and Furniture and Hotel Room Design at Vocational School in Izmir University of Economics.
She wrote her master thesis named Reading Manfredo Tafuri: Architecture and Utopia Design and Capitalist Development. She is still working on her PhD thesis named Reading J. G. Ballard: A Methodological Proposal on Reading Science Fiction Novels in the Intersection of Architectural Discourse and Futuristic Discourse. |
